Answer to our nail problems?

Postby Doug Working » Thu Jan 17, 2019 7:29 pm

Well, I can't testify as to whether it works like they say, but the site does have a lot of great testimonials. Might be worth looking into. I'm going to read more before I decide whether t plunk down some bucks.

But definitely worth a look.

I'm about to pull the trigger on ordering this. Just had another nail tear for no apparent reason. I'm fed up with it past my eyeballs.

Ok. Update. I went ahead and did it. I plopped down the bucks. JUST HAD to do it. Could no longer resist. The thought of flexible, strong nails was just dangling in front of me like a carrot.

I know I could end up being disappointed, but I got to try.

I'll let you all know how it works.

If not? Then back to the old drawing board.

Doug, at the CAAS convention last summer I was talking with Rick Allred, who is a regular performer every year, and he told me about "m nail magic hardener and conditioner". It sounds like it's too late now, since you've already ordered the other stuff you talked about, but it's what I use and I really like it! It can be found at Walmart but I just ordered more from Amazon. Just copy and paste what I have in quotes.

I have had some but limited success with M nail magic but I'll be interested in your results with whatever you have ordered Doug. Good luck. Darn I hate my weak nails!

I'm looking in the mail every day with anticipation. If the stuff works, I'm golden.

As I type now, I see new cracks forming in my index finger nail. Arrrrrrrghhh! I want to pull my hair out. But doggone, there's nothing up there but shine. Smooooooooooooth!

So that's out. So my next option is to pull my NAILS out, but I'm not into the POW type thing, so that leaves me only one option, which is to wait.

Just joshin!

Anyway, hopefully the shipping will be rapid, however they charged me no shipping charges. Which was awesome, because when ordering through the mail, the shipping charges are what kill you.

I'm really pretty excited about the product, because if it does for my nails what it did for the guy in the video (Did you SEE how flexible his nails were?? ) He cut through a carrot with his nail, and it looked super flexible. Didn't break the nail. It just "flexed." It says they figured out a way to get the formula to penetrate the outer surface of the nail, so it's not just a "coating." It penetrates down to where it needs to go.

Anyway, I'll use it for a few weeks, and I'll post here whether it lives up to it's name, or whether I just wasted a hunka hunka burning..er, ah, I mean cash.

If it works for me, it may work for you guys, too. I'll volunteer to be the Guinea pig.

Another day with an empty mailbox. I'm going nuts waiting for this to arrive.

I ordered some organic teas from another company like only a day or two ago, and it was on my doorstep this morning, but the nail goo was ordered several days before that.

*sigh*

TADA!!

It finally arrived today.

I'm on it.

It's odorless.

The instructions say simply brush it on the nail...allow it to sit for a few minutes. It doesn't evaporate. After a few minutes, use your thumb to rub it into the nail and cuticles. Do once or twice a day.

That's it. Simple. Painless.

I'll be a cappy hamper if it works

Lots of discussion on topic of nails on Delcamp forum:

Here are a couple other threads from the Acoustic Guitar Forum with a similar but slightly different topic, but includes many responses (including mine) about various products and techniques used for nail care:
