Spadaro,
I wanted to let you know that as a follower of the Chet board, I have enjoyed your posts.
I’ve often wondered who you are, and what you do when you aren’t playing music.
Do you play professionally or for personal enjoyment, like most of us ?
With all the guitar equipment you have, playing must be a major part of your life.
I would also say, that “yes” the Chet board has seemed to all but died in the last year or so.
I guess there are other Chet forums out there, but I have never found them.
Also, I can only “guess” that the fewer posts to the board might have to do with most of us getting on in years, along with having lost so many of our guitar heroes, it becomes a bit depressing.
To watch our beloved “thumbpicking” fade away, one year, one hero at a time, is the same as our parents and grand parents experiencing big bands and the singing stars of their day, die away.
I hope very much that you continue to post here, as your music and videos are enjoyable to watch and listen to.
Thanks so much for being a Chet fan, from so far away.
Bill

Re: Black Mountain Rag Chet cover acoustic sound
thanks Bill for the nice words.
I am a huge fan of 360-degree music and guitar.
When I'm not playing I work as a railway worker on the Italian state railways, I work close to home.
Very soon I will publish a new video, a tribute to my idol Mark Knopfler, using a Les Paul custom shop 58.

The Chetboad has been silent. I'm glad you and a couple of others still post here. I check occasionally to see if anything is happening. Take care, Paolo.
