Paul Yandell live at CAAS 2009

Here is a video I shot of Paul in the Kirk Sand room at CAAS in 2009 I think.

Paul was a dear friend to me and Phil Hunt, Craig Dobbins, Eddie Pennington, Mark Thornton and many more.
As we all know he cherished and looked after the memory of Chet and protected Chets legacy against con men and we know the identity of one of those.

I was fortunate to be at CAAS that year and had the opportunity to witness Paul playing several times including when this video was recorded. It takes me back to when I first found the "Chetboard" and Paul was very actively involved. I also remember the first time that I met him in person at CAAS in 2006, and he treated me as though we had been friends for 20 years. A lot of things changed after his passing. CAAS is not the same, and the Chetboard is not the same. But his friendship is still endearing to me. I still feel honored to have known him and to know his family.

I will always cherish the time I spent with Paul and his beautiful family who I still love as my dear friends. I look forward to seeing Marie Micah and Sheri every CAAS.

Nice video, Eddie. Do you know what the title of the first song is? Thanks

Thanks for reply, Ray, but it sure doesn't sound like AT. I referring to the song that starts at 3:20, right after he gets done talking.
Thanks
Al B.

You're right. I must have touched the screen and not started at the beginning. I don't know what that song is either. I'm sorry about the confusion.

Eddie Estes, I sent you a PM. Did you recv it? My PMs look like they're staying in the composition bin even though the system indicates thay've been sent successfully. Thanks for checking, LMark
