Thanks for the listen on this guys.
I've gotten quite a few emails on the electric part on this tune.I used a PRS direct with a bit of compression and verb.
I always loved the keyboard solo on Chet's version so I tried to improv a bit around that.
I'll transcribe what I did and see if I can post it.
Thanks again,
Mark

Thanks Matt.
That's one tune I always loved Chet's tone and playing on.
You kinda have to play it your own way.
Chet's too hard to copy!

Mark, This may seem like "blasphemy" but I think you modified a few things in a way that I would even consider trickier than what Chet did! I'm going to incorporate some of what I heard you do and add them to my "bag of tricks".

Just want to add that I too think that's fabulous. Generally I peek in here most days but just now saw this post of yours and listened. Wow. Absolutely terrific. What fine hands you must have and your extensive familiarity with the fretboard is just outstanding! Great tone too with that guitar.

One thing I do miss is sending tunes to Paul Yandell.
He would give me great advice on some things I was arranging.
Sure miss his input.
