I'm in the Market for a Classic CE, any year better then others for ownership ?

I had one of the custom shop models they first issued. I bought it used. It was a great guitar...nice neck and a fine tone out of the pickup. I had it for several years and enjoyed it. I had a buddy who got one of the later ones...an '89 I think, and that was the same quality ahd sound when I played his. I liked mine and his. I hope this helps.
