Virginia College to play Christmas Tribute to Chet
Richmond, VA
Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia will be performing a special holiday concert which will include several ensembles, one dedicated to Chet: Nashville Noel: A Holiday Tribute to Chet Atkins.
John Patykula of the VCU Dept. of Music tells us the ensemble of 40 guitarists is second on the evening's program, and will be directed by composer Frank Mullen III, of Mary Washington College.
The concert will be held Friday Dec. 7th at the VCU Performing Arts Center, 922 Park Ave., Richmond VA.
