What you are really doing Bruce is giving guys like me a reason to poke my self in the stomach, because I'll never be able to play like that, Well, perhaps I'll just burn my guitars and stretch my neck... Nah... It's just a hobby and not worth all that fuss Seriously, that was some pickin.. Really great. Thanks.

Claude, Bill, and Ron: thank you very much guys!
Ron, you are Way too kind, man. I suspect you can pick circles around me. It doesn't bother me, though, that there are thousands upon thousands of pickers that are better than me ... I'm just glad we can share with each other. And, your funny comments aside for the moment, I know you are also glad we can all share. It's great that Chet, Jerry, Merle, and Paul inspired so many people to develop a musical talent we can all enjoy.

Very well done as usual, Bruce. Nice sound, and I think I heard a few Doc Watson licks in there as well. What guitar did you use? It sounded Martinesque.

Thank you Vidar!
The guitar is an old Alvarez Limited Edition that I got sometime in the early to mid-seventies. I've always liked it because it plays easily, yet has a nice sound. I lent it to my Dad for years, since he loved acoustics so much, and he gave it back to me about 10 years or so ago. I haven't played it in many, many months and really should restring it and play it some. Thanks,
Bruce

Bruce, is it more or less like this one? (Sorry, I couldn´t help it):

It´s a top quality instrument indeed.

Yes Vidar. The production year of 1978 is a little later than I was thinking, but that is the guitar. I recall paying $500 for it, with a discount, which made it a fairly expensive guitar in those days.
