Hi again,
here's Tommy Emmanuel and his brother Phil paying tribute to some of their childhood heroes, Hank Marvin and The Shadows, with a Shadows medley including Apache, Dance On, Frightened City, F.B.I., The Boys, Peace Pipe, Man Of Mystery and Foot Tapper:
Enjoy!

Re: Tommy and Phil Emmanuel play The Shadows
Tommy and Phil did some Shadows material one year at CAAS. After the convention I went out and purchased some Shadows cd's to play as background music in my office. I also play Chet, Duane Eddy, and Richard Kiser among others. I think we should have an early guitar rock n roll night at the CAAS convention. Get Tommy, Phil, Nokie, and Duane Eddy. While not fingerstyle niether is gypsy jazz. The crowd goes nuts with the gypsy jazz and I think they would go nuts with the rock n roll. The evening performance should be entertaing as the family members gather as opposed to the daytime sessions that are more technical.
