Buster B. Jones guitar

Postby Chuck » Sun Sep 12, 2010 12:06 pm

I had a question I vaguely remember seeing addressed (but not resolved) a while back. On those great instructional videos, did Buster Jones play a stock Godin? I realize the inlays were custom, but as far as the pickups were they the RMC's, or were there any other mods he made? Thanks

They were RMC's in his Godin.
Thanks,

I am glad that Buster got his favorite guitar back to enjoy before his passing. I always felt that the guitar meant a lot to him and that he missed it when it was stolen.

I got to meet Buster at CAAS 2008 and loved his sound of course. Was his Godin the same as the production ones available in stores today or was it "souped up"? thinking about buying one. Probably the synth access model. - Simon

It seems like I heard mention that he had shaved the neck down to some degree.
