Lenny Breau: Aug 5, 1941 - Aug 12, 1984
Lenny passed away 27 years ago today. There was only one Lenny...
Thanks,
George

Thanks for the reminder, George. I should have known that YOU would be on top of that. You're YouTube posts have demonstrated some very intricate harmony and arrangements inspired by Lenny.
I remember that I had just moved to Sacramento from Michigan the month before and heard that tragic news.
Thanks for the reminder. Interestingly enough Lenny lived to be 43 and Elvis was only 42. Terrible losses at such a young
age!

George & Randy,
Thanks for the reminder. I think I will play the "Standard Brands" CD that Chet and Lenny recorded several years ago. I enjoy hearing their rendition of "Cattle Call" from this album. Their version of "Sweet Georgia Brown" is the most difficult and yet fun to play.

Hey Paul, I sent you a private message a few weeks back. I have a question about a solid state Standel.
Thanks,
George
