Proteus at C.A.A.S. this year?

Postby Ray Bohlken » Wed Jul 13, 2011 10:12 am

I was wondering if Proteus will be at the C.A.A.S. this year and (hopefully) sending all those great comments and audios and videos our way. It's a great way to sort of participate in the convention if you can't attend. It's been great to see and hear some of the great players at the convention.

Ray, I hope you're right. As I recall, he is more of a Gretsch fan than he is a Chet fan. Regardless, if he attends and posts some nice pictures, that would be great.

Tim, Proteus, is a personal friend. He is retained by Gretsch to provide a pictorial record, including video and narration, of various Gretsch sponsored events. And as you all have witnessed, he does a great job. I don't know if he is scheduled to do the CAAS this year or not. Hopefully he is.

Deed Eddy (Duane's wife) chimed in and said that, unfortunately, Proteus will not be attending CAAS this year.

Thanks for the info, Norm. That's too bad. I appreciated his efforts and enjoyed his videos, audios, photos, and especially his narrative regarding the convention.

Yes, that's too bad about proteus; However, George Beasley is doing a good job of posting some great shots in another thread. Thanks George.
