(rough) ride in a little red wagon_warts and all...

I've been windbagging on this site for years and never played a note.
There were reasons. Mainly because most of my playing was on Dobro. There's a lot of guitar players around but not so many dobro players.

Anyway, it got so bad (not practicing) that my calluses went.

About two month ago I injured my left hand. Pulled something... couldn't make a fist let alone play guitar and that was a Wake Up Call.

I spent literally hours in recovery tryiing to get back what I could of my playing.

I got some of it back. Not as good as I was years ago but whatcha hear is what I got.

Single cut 6122 Gent... made in 1961. Super Tron at the fingerboard and a TVJones 8k pickup at the bridge. Tru-Arc brass bridge plugged direct into the PC.

Sorry it's so rough, boys, but you have no idea what I had to go thru to get even this much...

And, as Chet said... "all mistakes are intentional"

Hi Norm, Sounds good! Still love those old Single CG. I wish they would have made a Hall of Famer exactly like Chets 59, right to the finest detail. Al

Norm, that old Gent sings like a stately old Gentleman. Thank you for sharing its beautiful music with us. Music is a gift that is to be shared. Some time in a generation or two from now, a decendant of yours is going to hear this and be proud of you. That little piece spoke volumes to me.

Thanks,
Richard

Norm,
You did a good job on Little Red Wagon. You should record some more songs to share with us.

Appreciate the post Norm. Enjoyed your pickin on this song, and have also enjoyed the "windbagging" over the years.

Norm, I enjoyed your playing. You and your Gent sounded great. I'm sorry you had a hand problem and I hope it gets back to where you want it. Take care,
Ray
