This is the kind of music I grew up on, from my friend Ray Cummins:

That's great playing as always. I'm always interested in what guitar is used , as well as the recording equipment. The sound is exactly what I wish I could get. The way I think of it is that the sound occurs; and, then it's gone without lingering. Of course, I realize different people hear things different ways.
We met at one of Palmer Moore's picken parties in Columbus, Ohio a few years ago. I wonder if you ever found any of those certain thumb picks you were looking for.
I have a couple of old Standel amps. which I prefer over anything else. I've bought an old one with a 15" speaker; but, don't have it home yet.
What do you think of the old ones and the new ones? Thanks for posting.
