Hey All!

I have to say one of the best parts about being in a "Smokey And The Bandit" tribute band is actually getting to play some Reed live! Here's a live version of "The Claw" We also play Amos Moses and Gator! :D

Hope it puts a smile on your face!

Hardly a day goes by that I don't pick up the classical guitar by my lazy boy chair and play excerpts of "the claw". Even so I just love hearing professionals play it. especially live. If that tune doesn't get your audiences worked up I don't know what would. Good job.

In this tune has one part that created so many problems for me that I have always avoided playing The Claw live, your videos helped me solve the problem because I hear everything crystal clear and now there are no ambiguities.I have a gig tomorrow night and for the first time I'll play this tune before an audience, I play Dave Edmunds version that I found on youtube and that is the same as Jerry Reed, but only the guitar sound a bit different.thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much Toni!

Wow- That's what it's all about! Thanks for listening and I'm really glad to hear that you'll be playing it live!
