Recent use of "Band in a Box"

I just posted this on FaceBook and thought I should do the same here since most of you aren’t in my FB group. I did this about 2 years ago to demonstrate the effectiveness of “Band in a Box” as a way to accompany your instrumentals.

Good show Rande! That is a tough arrangement and for that reason I never tried it. Did Chet record that tune on some album? You are a really good guitarist.

Thanks, Rich. No, the only one I know about who recorded this was Jerry. As far as me being "a good guitarist", I used Band in a Box like a metronome and played this over and over as I kept speeding it up and finally after half an hour I reached my peak and recorded it. I wish I could do this at the beginning, every time I pick up my guitar!

Rande,
That was great! I had BIAB playing behind me when I videoed "Armadillo in Mourning" for Facebook recently. It helps me keep from trying to do too much when I'm singing a song and playing, too. Of course, I didn't do any Reed picking like you did. I'm amazed whenever I hear you guys that can play that stuff. Enjoyed it!

Thanks, Bill. Just lots of practice combined with no effort (or ability) put into singing and distracting myself! :-)
