Hi,
I know that Merle Travis penned a number of hit songs but does anybody know if he had hit records from his performances either vocal or instrumental? Thanks.

He was quite an artist I'd say. Plus Chet said he could compose a great instrumental, write you a hit, draw a cartoon or fix your watch. I guess he was one of those guys that can do anything! Thanks for the answer Randy.
