Hi everybody,
today marks the 58th anniversary of Hank Williams' untimely death.
Here's a little tribute by Tommy Emmanuel and Pat Bergeson:
Any other tribute or original videos would be highly appreciated!
I always wondered what the connection between Chet and Hank was. Did he play lead or rhythm guitar on some of his recordings? Did he tour with him?
All my best for 2011!

Re: Hank Williams - 58th anniversary of his death today
I remember waking up that Jan 1 morning and hearing the sad news on the radio. It was almost unbelievable. I was a very small chap then, but I was a huge Hank Williams fan, and still am to this day. I have never been around the business end of the music business very much, but apparently Hank made a lot of enemies, but his talent is undeniable. How he could have achieved so much in a hundred lifetimes is incredible, but to think he did by the age of 29. Many songwriters consider it a good career to have one hit song, and it is, but Hank cranked them out, one right after the other. I don't see how you could possibly think country music and not think Hank Williams at the same time.

That was a nice instrumental to go along with Chet's story. Real pretty.
