God Rest/East tennessee Christmas Cover (CHET ATKINS)-VIDEO

Postby Spadaro Paolo » Sat Dec 24, 2016 8:24 am

As promised here is my Christmas video, to wish you all merry Christmas and happy holidays !!!!

I chose two fantastic arrangements of Chet: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen played with my Taylor 814 and East Tennessean Christmas played with my Gretsch 6122-1959.
Both present in 1983 album "East Tennessee Christmas".

Both attacked my new amp Rivera Sedona Litte 55, I have no words to describe the quality of this amp, really warm, full sound.

Thank you as always Chet for creating these fantastic arrangements, thank Doyle Dykes and the Rivera family for creating this fantastic amplifier and Eddie Estes thank you for giving me the opportunity to study in detail these arrangements.

Grazie, PAOLO.

That's great Paolo. The amp sounds really good and your playing is terrific. Merry Christmas and thanks so much for these pieces.

Merry Christmas Paolo.

I really enjoyed that. Well done!

East Tennessean Christmas looked quite tricky to me and you pulled it off really well.

Thank you for making "my" 6122/59 sound so good! I hope you don´t mind my posting your version of The Boxer played on the Del Vecchio. It sounds sooo good! That guitar has a sound of its own.

Grazie Art, Andrew , Roger E Vidar!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it also my attempt to replicate The Boxer.

It was not easy at all to be able to find a DelVecchio in that state here in Italy.

It´s always a pleasure to listen to you Spadaro. I think good DelVecchios are hard to find anywhere!
