I just found out that Lonnie Mack passed away yesterday at the age of 74 from natural causes. He was not a fingerstyle player, but I enjoyed listening to his playing and singing. His version of Memphis was amazing to me. He wrote a song called Wham and showed his aggressive use of the Bigsby. Some folks say that is where the phrase "whammy bar" originated. Anyway, another player I liked has left us.
Ray
He plays a song called Stop and in his intro and the two solos, he shows what I was talking about with the Bigsby.

Re: Lonnie Mack passed on yesterday
Hi Ray,
I never followed him but was aware of him and I'm sorry he's gone and thanks for filling me in on the details of his backround.
