I was checking out guitars on eBay and ran across this guitar for sale. It's a 1959/6122 at a pretty decent price and it's new. I thought someone might be interested.

Street Sounds is a great Gretsch dealer. Whoever buys that will be very happy I'm sure!

That guitar looks like a Nashville Classic like the one I have owned since 2003. It has imperial tuning keys on it like mine. The Country Gentleman that they claim this guitar is has the butterbean tuning keys. They began making the CG in 2007 but from 2003 until 2006 they made the Nashville Classic. Perhaps they used an old picture.

Roger, I have a Nashville Classic, too, and it has keys like that. I didn't know that the keys were different. Good thing you're observant. I've never played one of the post 2007 CA gents -just seen photos in catalogs and on Youtube videos and never really looked at the tuning keys. The ad says, though, that it is a Chet Atkins Country Gentleman and it was never used or never displayed. It also says the keys are Grover Imperial die cast. I sure like my guitar and I think that is a good price for one - even a used Nashville Classic from almost 10 or 12 years ago, much less a new one.
Take care,

Is it my imagination, or did the price go up on this? I thought it was originally $ 1750.00. Can you raise a price while an auction is going on? It looks like they sold several of them. I'm sure I'm right about the original price. I don't think it's a good price now. Sorry if I was originally mistaken.
