I changed strings on my classical guitar this weekend and I don't like tieing them at the bridge. I noticied on line some beads you can use at the bridge so that you don't have to tie the strings in the conventional method. Do any of you use these or have you tried them? I was thinking of buying a set for my next string change.
Thanks,
GaryL
Re: Classical Guitar String Tie Beads
Gary, many people have "warned" me that they won't sound as good but I've used them a few times with no problem and any discernible difference was negligible.

Thanks Rande,
I'm going to try them next time around. I think I may just do the treble strings.
I marred a couple of guitars with the treble slipping in the past.
