Jim Reeves is one of my favorites and I love the way he did this song. It's got a great melody and I tried to get some of the feeling Jim put into it. Jim's wiki page has some interesting reading on his career and it mentions Chet.
Thanks for listening.

Wow! That was great. It had a nice Chet Atkins vibe and tone, and I really enjoyed it. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks Richard.
I enjoyed working on that arrangement listening to Jim's great performance and trying to think how Chet might have done it. Actually, I know how Chet would have done it - PERFECTLY. One of my favorite Chet albums is his double album Country Pickin which I wore out as a kid. I tried to emulate some Chet's feeling on that album in my arrangement. I used a Gretsch 6120 with lots of bigsby.
The Jim Reeves wiki page link is as follows:

What a career Jim had! The amount of hits and the records he set accross the globe is staggering. So sad that he left us at such a young age. Another example of an artist that Chet helped and influenced.
Thanks,
GaryL
