Is this Chet?

Not really a video, but I love this type of novelty song, and I assume it is Chet on the pull-offs and harmony with the mandolin

It's got my vote that it's Chet.

Since he toured with the Carter Family and was friends with Homer & Jethro, it has to be.

Since Chet was Jethro's brother in law and the fact that Chet alluded to playing with them on records....unmistakably it is the great Chet Atkins. The rhythm guitar is Homer Haynes who was one of the best ever.

I really miss this part of country music..the humor.

From the first couple licks it has Chet written all over it. No one in the world is or rather WAS able to pull off those pull offs with such ease as he did. I absolutely LOVE those old recordings! Back to another era, when music was ACTUALLY music. Back when it was pure, sweet, innocent and good.

More important than that, it was a totally different time in AMERICA, the land of the free. We all know and probably bemourn the fact that this country has changed fior the worse.

I have several of those old Carter sisters radio broadcasts on my I-pod, and of course, Chet was in all of them. And if that's not Chet, I'll eat my hat.
