GRAMMY WINNER STEVE WARINER BRINGS HIS SHOW “THE STEVE WARINER EXPERIENCE” TO CLEVELAND, OHIO ON MAY 16

Fans Also Have Opportunity to Attend Guitar Workshop/Q&A and Private Meet-and-Greet (Limited to 40 Attendees Each and Requiring Additional Ticket)

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Mar. 20, 2014) – Four-time GRAMMY Award winner Steve Wariner will bring his show “The Steve Wariner Experience: The Hits, The Licks, and a Tribute to Chet” to Cleveland, Ohio on May 16 at the Cleveland Masonic Auditorium. The show gives fans the opportunity to hear the music legend perform his hits while also learning more about an artist who was one of his biggest influences and closest friends. A limited number of fans can also enhance the experience with additional opportunities to spend time with Wariner.

The show itself will be a 90 minute concert separated into two 45-minute sets, with a brief intermission in-between. The first set will be hit-filled featuring many of Wariner signature songs such as “Holes in the Floor of Heaven,” “The Weekend,” “Life’s Highway,” “Two Teardrops,” “Lynda,” “I Got Dreams,” “I’m Already Taken,” and more.

The second set will be an endearing tribute to Wariner’s mentor and close friend, the late Chet Atkins, one of the rare individuals inducted into both the Country Music and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame. The legendary Atkins named Wariner as one of four “certified guitar players” (c.g.p.), a high honor from such an esteemed guitar virtuoso. Wariner, who played in Atkins’ band before launching his solo career, won a GRAMMY Award in 2009 for Best Country Instrumental Performance for his song “Producer’s Medley” from his album Steve Wariner c.g.p…..My Tribute to Chet Atkins. He will perform songs from that album and others during this set.

For a limited number of concert goers, there are also two additional opportunities to delve further into “the Steve Wariner Experience.” Each requires a separate ticket in addition to the concert ticket.

In the afternoon after his sound check, Wariner will hold a Guitar Workshop and Q&A for serious guitar players. This is a rare opportunity to learn from a true master of the instrument, and is strictly limited to a total of 40 attendees.

Before the show, Wariner will also hold a private Meet-and-Greet that will be open to just 40 attendees.

Tickets for the concert range from $25.00 to $100.00 each and can be purchased at Ticketfly Tickets for the Guitar Workshop and Q&A are an additional $100 each and are limited to a total of 40. Tickets for the private Meet-and-Greet are an additional $75 each and are limited to a total of 40.

Wariner has won four GRAMMY Awards, four CMA Awards, and one ACM Award. The Grand Ole Opry member has had 14 No. 1 hits, more than 30 Top Ten hits, and 15 BMI Million-Air Awards for writing songs that have been played more than one million times on radio. He has been inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame, National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame, and Kentucky Music Hall of Fame. In addition to writing many of his own hits, Wariner has written or co-written songs that were recorded by Clint Black (including the No. 1 hit "Nothin' But the Taillights" and the Top 5 hit "Been There"), Garth Brooks (the No. 1 hit "Longneck Bottle"), Keith Urban (the No. 1 hit "Where the Blacktop Ends"), Bryan White (the Top 20 hit "One Small Miracle"), and many others.
