That is such a good buy, still the best Gretsch ever made IMHO!

That beautiful 6122-1959 Nashville Classic went for only $1.225 dollars. Now that's a steal ! It's almost as good as the deal I got a few years back for $1100 dollars with original case . The NC is one GREAT GUITAR IMHO. Thanks again to Mr. Yandell for getting this guitar made. It's the next best thing to having Chet's original . Joe

I can't believe that git sold for that little.I suppose the 3/4" neck scares people off.If my body wasn't so old and arthritic I would have bid on that puppy. It sells for $2900.00 new and I still can't believe it sold for that price. What a deal! The Best, Ty M.

Re: Nashville Classic 6122-1959
I thought the 1622-1959 had the wide neck? I was told that the CGP was the narrower one. I would never intentionally
buy a guitar with a 3/4" neck. Ty, are you sure? I've been drooling over this guitar for a while and I played one once at Sweetwater Sound in Ft. Wayne, IN. and it felt wider than my '67 CG.

Neck specs on CGP. Source Paul Yandell archive:
“…As for the guitar itself, the neck is the same at the nut as the 6122-59 Gretsch Country Gentleman and the taper is the same as the Gibson Country Gentleman. …”
Neck specs on 6122-59. Source Paul Yandell archive:
“…Chet's neck at the nut is 44.16 mm or 1.7585 inches at the 5th fret it's 48.00mm or 1.89 inches at the 12th fret it’s 52.75mm or 2.0765, the new one is right on these specs….”
Nashville Classic and 6122.59 are the same but you knew that.

Norm, my probably very early Nashville Classic of July 2003 measures exactly like that.
