You don't often think of Chet and telecaster in the same thought, but I ran across this video the other day. I'm sure you've all seen it.
I think is just another example of how much of Chet's tone was in his hands, because even playing a Tele, the sound is unmistakably Chet's.

One other thing, is that a B-bender on Chet's Tele?? Just curious.

I believe it is a B-bender. Probably the only reason he even was playing it. I don't think the guitar was in his collection when he died so he may have just borrowed it for a recording or two

I think "Deed I Do" is a Telecaster with the B-Bender.
