Chet on a Tele

You don't often think of Chet and telecaster in the same thought, but I ran across this video the other day. I'm sure you've all seen it.
I think is just another example of how much of Chet's tone was in his hands, because even playing a Tele, the sound is unmistakably Chet's.

One other thing, is that a B-bender on Chet's Tele?? Just curious.

I believe it is a B-bender. Probably the only reason he even was playing it. I don't think the guitar was in his collection when he died so he may have just borrowed it for a recording or two
...that's how it looks to me...The opinion expressed above is my own and does not necessarily reflect the views of this station. Your mileage may vary...

That should do it.

Thanks Norm for satisfying my curiosity!!
I had read somewhere that he recorded with one. Could you enlighten me as to which recordings these are? I'd like to give them a listen!

I think "Deed I Do" is a Telecaster with the B-Bender.
