In this video at about 2:08 Chet starts playing Mr. Sandman but I can't seem to figure out how he's playing it since it is transposed into a different key.
If anybody could help me with this that would be great because the only way I know how to play Mr. Sandman is while using open strings.

Thanks

Thats the intro, the tab is widely available. he does it with long stretches in A. It is very hard to do those stretches.

In that video Chet goes from the key of A to C by ending Country Gentleman in A and then going to V of C. He then plays a CMa7 to Dm7 starting with d on the 4th string 12th fret through c on the 8th fret and then a stacatto b note on the 7th fret. Have fun!
