Hi,
I have just been listening to Guy Van Duser's CD 'A Session With...' and I really like it. I particularily like his arrangement of 'All the Things You Are'. Would any Chetboarders have a copy of Guy's arrangement? I would appreciate a copy if at all possible,
Many Thanks,
Frank

Guy is perhaps the most underrated finger style picker in they Genre. He is an amazing player and writer. Chet had so much respect for the guy and just spoke of him in glowing terms. A bit shy and not much of a self promoter but he can really play. One of my favorites.

If you have not heard him, give yourself a treat and buy one of his albums. Lots of the super pickers on this Board play his songs....but no one plays them as good as Guy.

He's one of the ones who comes VERY close to Chet's tone. So close it's scary sometimes because of the taste he arranges what he plays.
...that's how it looks to me...The opinion expressed above is my own and does not necessarily reflect the views of this station. Your mileage may vary...

That should do it.

Chet's been quoted as saying "Guy plays more like me than I do."
