I noticed when you click on someone's profile there is a bit of business about "add friend/add foe" What's that all about?
Knowing how contentious things can get around here due to different outlooks I'm not sure "add foe" would be an advisable option

Re: question about profiles
Here is the FAQ on that:
What are my Friends and Foes lists?
You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.
Looks like it hides posts from folks of your choosing.

Re: question about profiles
Another dumb question. Can we edit our profile after we have registered?

Yes, Richard. In the blue area under the header, click on 'User Control Panel'. When the page comes up, click on 'Profile' and make any changes you want.

Re: question about profiles
I should have been more specific. I would like to change my user name to my real name.

Richard,
You'll have to create a new account to do that. Or you could do like some and create a 'signature' with your real name that will be appended to your posts.
