Echoplex EP-3
I'm looking for an Echoplex EP3 if anyone has one for sale. I sold my good one about 10 years ago cause I needed money for my wedding (of course now I regret it now), it was a real nice one I bought from Ronnie. I always loved the preamp on those things, they always make a guitar sound better.

I agree, I still use the EP2 with tubes. The EP3 sounds great too. They sound better to me than any of the electronic stuff. I have an EP2 and EP3 and a Lexicon 42 but the EP2 is my favorite. Al

Re: Echoplex EP-3
Phil, I agree that Plex did sound good. My wife made the cover for it at the same time she made the replacement cover for my '66 Fender Pro Reverb amp. I still have the amp with original speakers, and have a couple of JBL speakers on the way for it to mostly be used in the studio.
There is an EP-3 on ebay right now priced at $400. There probably are some others out there in various conditions. I remember replacing the heads on an EDP-1 or 2, and I spiced a few of the broken tapes.
Good luck with your search. - Ronnie
