I am grateful for the privilege to serve my country. My role seems unimportant when compared to many of my comrades. I served in the National Guard at a time when it was uncommon for the Guard to be deployed. Nowadays it is almost a guarantee. My family and I are grateful to all who have served and have risked it all so selflessly.
I recorded this in a little bit of a hurry. It is not perfect, but my humble offering to extend my gratitude to all Veterans, both past and present.

Great job..that'll get ya. Thanks, Richard. I had an uncle who was a Marine at Guadal Canal and another in Korea. My brother was a Cobra gunship pilot in Vietnam and his son is an Army Sgt. Major who's been deployed to Panama, three Iraq tours and is now in Afghanistan. My prayers and thanks go out to all who have served proudly.
