Here is one for your ridicule. Everybody plays this one and it seems to me that everybody plays it better than I do, especially the KY guys. But, it's a lot of fun to play anyway.

Re: Cannonball Rag
Richard, my hat is off to you on this arrangement. I have a looping pedal and I have never been able to work out a harmony "live" like that. I end up doubling on the lead and it sounds bad, so I usually just use a bit of echo and play it solo with no looping and I can get through it. Even when I record something and try to play harmony as an overdub, the same problem occurs....I end up doubling on the lead. When I hear guitarists playing harmony along someone else's lead - it seems they make it look so easy, but for me at least, it is NOT. You have a wonderful arrangement and you did a great job with it. Thanks for posting.

Terry, I guess it helps if you have ADD. I think we all have that problem sometimes though. You just have to know what you are going to do and concentrate a little harder. Most harmonies are 3rd's and 5th's.
Mark, it's great to hear from you. Long time no see. Hope you're doing well.

Richard, you're right, it seems everyone plays this tune, and my buddies and I joke about it a lot. But your arrangement here is outstanding. Not fast, not complicated, not overdone. Great harmonies, and fantastic ending. Normally, I wouldn't walk across the street to hear this tune, but you really did it justice. Well done!

Just Wow! Now that's the way to get creative with an old standard. Great job...and I love the turnaround on the end. All tasty, as always, Richard.
