This is from the Gretsch Guitar web site. The guy´s name is Brian Thrasher - how about that? Anyway, he knows his job.

I'm not impressed.

He doesn't lock the strings at the tuning post as reccomended by most other sites.

This is especially important for Bigsby using folks.

That´s because he uses a Sperzel locking device. It looks scary I admit.

The Spretzel's are on the blue guitar

The Bigsby demo is on a 6122-59 with the familiar big button tuner

Oops! I guess the Gretsch amps aren't standard equipment in the Gretsch shop. Apparently, Fender is preferred.... lol!

I'm sorry, but the face hardware creeps me out. *shudder*

One of the best things to come down the pike for guitar is the Sta-Tune fine tuner and string lock, I've been using one for months now and I almost never have to tune if I do I use the fine tuner the vib stays in perfect tune, they aren't cheap but I think they are worth every penny, thanks paul

I'll bet that guy was plain butt ugly before he grew the little rug under his lower lip, added the metal in his face and the tattoos all over his body.

Anyone who goes Koo Koo for Coco Puffs with any vibrato wanting to stay in tune needs a locking nut. An occasional dip (NOT a DIVE) is OK without one.
If BRUTE-FORCE isn't working, you're not using enough ! ! !
