Hallowed Ground

Been visiting family in Oklahoma the past couple of weeks. Yesterday, we rode down Rt 66 past Chandler into Davneport Oklahoma. Just outside Chandler on the way to Davenport is the bridge where Les Paul and Mary Ford crashed one cold January day so many years ago. It's the first time I've been past that bridge since Les passed away.

I think a historical marker should be erected there. But then I'm an old sentimental geezer.
