Short diddy I wrote.

Postby nikandrsn » Mon Sep 20, 2010 11:23 pm

I don't usually post my playing, but I thought I would give it a try.

This is a song I came up with called "Nicks Harmonics Blues." It gets kind of redundant, but it is all fingerpicked.

Not in the style of Chet, but I try. I need to come up with a hook or something.

Thanks,
Nick Anderson

Thanks a bunch for the coments! I'm always apprehensive about posting stuff.

I'm using a Guild GAD-40 Dreadnaught cutaway(China-made) with a Baggs M1 Active soundhole pickup. It is ran into a PreSonus BlueTube preamp, a compressor, then into my tascam Pocket5 recorder. All direct. I try to talk up these M1 pickups every chance I get.

I really would like to try their Anthem pickup.

Thanks again,
Nick Anderson

Hi Nick.....My buddy just put Baggs Anthem pickup system in a Taylor 714 and it is quite possibly the best sounding system I ever heard. $300 bucks is a bit rich for my taste tho'.
