"You Are My Sunshine" is another song from my Acoustic Guitar CD. I am told by Ron Worrell that Chet used to call WSM and request a version of the song played for Leona.

I recorded my version last winter inspired by the movie soundtrack 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou'. I played it on my custom 12 fret Gallagher Doc Watson guitar. The guitar has beautiful tone, is amazingly lightweight, and a joy to play. It is an extended length mahogany dreadnought yet so light that when I pick up the case it feels as though it is empty.

All the photos in the YouTube presentation are by my wife Jean who is the true artist in the family. Thanks for viewing "You Are My Sunshine".

Thanks Roger and Claude,
I appreciate you kind comments. The song is an all time favorite. Most audiences know the words to the chorus and generally some sing along which makes it that much more enjoyable to play.
