I just received a copy of Howard Heitmeyer's arrangement of "Sophisticated Lady" this morning. It will probably be in next week's tab distribution. It will be interesting to see how Howard approached this song. It has always been one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed that. Good work! I've said things like this before but Chet's arrangements of standards like Sophisticated Lady must have knocked everyone's socks off! So beautiful so elegant a true listening pleasure.

Gentlemen, thanks for the kind words. Its difficult to emulate Chet's sound and his ability, and I have been trying for 50 years or so. Still haven't got it, and never will, but it is certainly fun to try. Having YouTube available to use is really great. Again, thanks for your comments. I hope to see you folks at the CAAS convention. I'll probably be hosting the open mic in the mornings, so get your guitars and stop by and play a few licks.
