I know this post isn't much to do with Chet - BUT, we all know he loved jazz - which (I'm sure) made him reach out to the likes of George Barnes, George Benson, Larry Carlton, Earl Klugh - oh, and Lenny Breau... With that in mind check out these three icons of jazz guitar - all at the same time!! This is an hour of pure bliss for any true lover of guitar playing...

Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd, and Barney Kessel.....

Hope you enjoy is as much as I have,

Palmer

Palmer, those guys were great and played with taste and fire. I enjoyed watching it. I once saw Chet in concert here in Va. Beach with Albert Lee, Leo Kotke, and Lee Ritenour and Chet traded licks with all of them and backed them up at one time or another during the show. His jazz ability came through when he and Lee Ritenour were interacting musically. Thanks for posting this link.
