I think this has been posted a number of times on here but I never get tired of listening not only to the late, great, Terry McMillan, but of course to 'Mister Guitar' himself on this old Bob Dillon classic! How much 'improvisation' can you add to a song like this, and still have it fit together perfectly?
What a thumb!

David, I'll never forget seeing that when it first aired in about 1979. Most people didn't have VCR's yet. I'll never forget Chet's smooth descending roll ending. I also remember when Burt Reynolds hosted an episode of the Tonight Show in the mid 70's and he had Terry on with Jerry Reed performing "City of New Orleans". That was the first time I ever saw Terry McMillan.
