Here's a video of me playing my transcription of Travis' song, "Rose Time". Although there's a pickup in the soundhole, I'm not using it - the guitar was recorded acoustically.

You're a true master of the Merle Travis style, Randy. I'm so glad to see you and Eddie Pennington help keep his style alive. I grew up on Travis music, in the sense that my Dad was a Travis picker more so than an Atkins picker (I was the only Reed picker in the family). I sometimes wonder if Chet would have been Chet without Merle.

Anyway, I talk too much, so I'll just end with "Great Job."

Randy, thats just great !!! I have been listening alot lately to an album Merle recorded on CMH i think it is and it was all acoustic....I thought that was one of the best recordings I have heard...your sound is like that...sounds great !! Thanks for posting and keep 'em coming !!!
