I am trying my luck at posting videos on YouTube. Eddie Pennington gave me an opportunity to record him one morning at his home and this is one of the results from it. He's picking Texas Tornado. Hopefully I can post some more in the near future.

Sounded real good! I'm a Chet Atkins fan but I also love that Merle Travis sound. The album of his that comes to mind is "Strictly Guitar" which I guess he did in the late 60's. I really like each song on that and loved the full sound that he got. In Los Angeles his rendition of "Ma, she's making eyes at me" or maybe "he's making eyes at me" got some air time on local country stations here in the late 60's. His sound was so very full on that tune.
