Here is a second set from CAAS. This is Tommy playing a Kirk Sand nylon string thin line guitar solo, in the Kirk Sand room. Some very beautiful sounds. The link is to To B or Not To B, you can find the others right next to it on my YouTube channel LMRMAX. I don't get many responses on this board, so I'm not sure folks care if I post these or not. If you do, please respond. Enjoy!

Dang. I've seen Tommy in person at least a half dozen times, and I've seen him on you tube countless times. I don't recall seeing him play a nylon string guitar before. And here he is playing that nylon string guitar so comfortably and so well and with such a gorgeous tone.............as if he has played nothing but nylon string guitar for the past 50 years..........

Len, did you happen to record Audie and Eddie's performance on the main stage on Thursday morning? On Wednesday Audie did an instrumental of Jerry's version of "Georgia On My Mind". I suggested that he sing it the next time he performs it. He granted my request and sang it on Thursday on the main stage. I'm wondering if you caught that? I know that you can only be so many places at once! Thanks.

Thanks guys. Rande, I did not arrive until Thursday afternoon, so no, I did not record that session. The next session I post will be Parker Hastings in the Kirk Sand room playing his birthday present...

Len, that was a good one with Parker. That's when I first became "a fan". He had many songs to choose from that he could have played but I appreciated his good taste for being so young.

Boy, I'm sooo glad you caught this, Len. Thanks for posting it. I vote that Tommy include a few nylon tunes in his act! It's soooo nice hearing him playing "mellow." ---- In fact, how about this for an idea: His own Solo Sessions CD with nuttin' but nylon - kinda like what Chet left us.....? Ooooo.... Oooooo.... Oooooo.....

You're welcome! Hendrik, here's how to embed a youtube video:
In your browser, go to youtube, start the video playing, clink on the browser url window, and you will see the youtube url for that video.
Here's what the url link looks like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2ogEgQV-_c&feature
Copy the part that follows the = sign.
Click the youtube icon or button on the Chetboard, then paste what you have copied between the brackets:
t2ogEgQV-_c&feature
(that's the text after the v=)
So, it looks like this:

That should do it.
By the way, I couldn't get the Chetboard youtube embed to work until Craig Dobbins was kind enough to provide these instructions.
