On his birthday, I was thinking that Chet was always surprising us with his playing...changing pace, keys, etc. I thought I'd try a surprise in this video about half way through it. I guess the real surprise is that I got through it. I sure wish Chet was still around to show us how it is should to be done. It was always great to see and hear him.

Paolo, Roger, Doug, and LMark, I really appreciate your remarks. I always enjoy trying to work out Chet's arrangements, but working out one on my own is fun, too. I really like the Gibson Tennessean. That neck pickup in those and the Gibson Gent are amazing and have a great tone. Paolo, I think the light pickguard was only used on the 1st year they were made...1990 I think.
