A cover of Chet Atkins' and Jerry Reed's duet of Nashtown Ville.

I had the great pleasure of collaborating with the very talented Paul (Taffy) White. Paul is in Los Angeles and I'm in Sydney. It's pretty amazing that technology allowed us to put this together and we had a lot of fun doing it. Hope you enjoy listening.

That was impressive, Andrew and Paul! Which one of you did the first video to send to the other? Can you describe how you did it?

Thanks Rande - after we decided on a tune, I did a video and audio of Chet's part. Then I saved the uncompressed audio and a copy of my video (strictly unnecessary) to a dropbox folder (i.e. a central hard drive on the cloud/internet) for Paul.

Paul imported my audio to his DAW (Logic Pro), recorded his audio, corresponding video and the drums and bass.

Then he sent me his video.

I then synced the audio to both videos and combined the videos side by side in iMovie.

And there you have it! I love that two mates across the world can put together a guitar duet. Technology is very cool these days!
