This message board is designed for the discussion of guitar-related issues, with particular emphasis on fingerstyle guitar and specifically , the life and music of history's greatest guitar player, Mister Guitar, Chet Atkins https://www.misterguitar.us/forum/
Haven't posted in a while, but have been reading. Anyway here is a version of Avalon in the spirit of Chet and Les (although not even in the ballpark in terms of playing of course). Thanks for watching, and I sure enjoy and learn from this board. Background track by the great picker Matt Cowe. Chuck from Cincinnati.

Chuck, that was entertaining the way "Chuck on the left" bounced around while "Chuck on the right" was playing. Nice playing too!

Great job Chuck! Enjoyed your playing and presentation. It looks like these two have been playing together for a while. GaryL

I like your tone. I think Paul Yandell would have liked it, too. Parts of your work reminded me of him for some reason. LMark

Rande, Roger, Mr. Astro, Gary and Mark, thank you for the kind comments. Given the level of playing on this board, they mean a lot to me. Made my week actually and its only Wednesday. THANK you. Chuck

Chuck, I'm not sure how much evidence you have to determine "the level of playing on this board", but I can speak for myself in saying that I haven't posted anything yet. Maybe I'm not all that good!....lol. Being Jan Rooney's guitarist for 2 years in L.A. is no indicator of being a great finger-stylist.
