Wish I could have been there to see this in person.

I think about Paul every day.
He gave me a lot of suggestions that made me a better player.

He gave me his and his family's friendship too!

I agree, Eddie. Marie's friendship is worth a lot!

Eddie, I agree 100%. I'm still very close to Marie and Micah and Sherri. Micah and I talk about once a week on the phone. They are all family to me too. Isn't it amazing how many wonderful friends we have made over the years, all through the love of fingerstyle playing?

Eddie, you know me well so you know how thrilled I was the first time I ever met ole Paul; it took a while for him to 'warm up' to you, he first wanting to make sure what your intentions were. When he found out that I wanted nothing form him, only to be his friend,,,that's when he really opened up. I know he was the same way with you. He was so good to me, showing me things, teaching me things, giving me things...something all the time. Never a dull moment around Paul, he was a big joker, funny as the dickens, but when you sat down with him to play guitar,,,all the joking went out the window - he was ALL business! What a great guy he was!
