Here are five songs sung by Wally Fowler from 1946 during the WNOX Knoxville period with his band called the Georgia Clodhoppers that included Chet on lead guitar. I think these recordings are pretty rare.

The songs are taken from a 16-inch 33 1⁄3 rpm Capitol Transactions disc.

Side A | G-103

1. To Be or Not to Be
2. If I Had My Life to Live Over
3. There's a Little Bit of Everything in Texas
4. Lonely Sad and Blue

Side B | G-104

1. Living in Sorrow
2. Have You Seen my Daddy Here?
3. Dream Castles Shared with You
4. The White Rose of Georgia
5. When the Roses Bloom in Tennessee

The picture shows Chet, but could the session guitarist be Billy Byrd, who was with Wally Fowler, following WWII to 1948, according to this article: (http://www.cmt.com/artists/billy-byrd-his-penguins/)? That might explain the flatpicking. LMark

LMark may be correct. There is a CD released on B.A.C.M. out of the U.K. titled "That's The Last Straw" On the CD is the song "If I Had My Life To Live Over" which is also on the 16" transcription mentioned above. It is listed as being recorded in 1948. Chet was on the Wally Fowler Capitol single "Propaganda Papa/Mother's Prayer Capitol 190, recorded in 1945. It very well could be Billy Byrd instead of Chet on that transcription.
