Marvin, that was nice! I see that you're playing an Epiphone and possibly using a Fred Kelley thumb-pick?
I always watch right-hand technique and I like what I see with yours. When the fingers wander too far
from "home-base" between strokes, it's difficult to keep everything smooth and also even to hit all of
the notes! Nice job!

Thank you for the nice comment Rande. The Epiphone Casino is a cheap Korean one, but it does the job. I could never afford a Gretsch! Yes - it's a Fred Kelley thumbpick, which a guy gave me when I was busking in Chichester (England), and it's much better than what I was using before, which was a John Pearse one. I don't know if you noticed, but I rarely use my third right-hand finger, due to a condition I have called Focal Dystonia of the hand, so I do my best! Of course, I'm in good company, for as you no doubt know, Travis only used two fingers! Regards, Marvin

These are great songs and I enjoyed your playing. I also checked out your version of Sleep Walk, too, and you sounded good on that, too. It's one of my favorite songs. I know you said the Epiphone was a cheap one, but I think they are well made and sound good. They're just made to a price. I once had one of the Epiphone Chet Atkins Country Gent II guitars that I liked it a lot - nice neck and good pickups, especially the neck pickup...probably the same ones in your guitar. Take care.

I liked this a lot - strong, clear and swingy playing. I had an Epiphone Casino for a few years, I think they're really nice guitars, good tone and comfortable to play.

Thanks for posting :)
