Not sure if this video is available internationally, but I found this recording of Chet in Njårdhallen 1973 that may be of interest to some.

Chet enters stage at around 36 minutes in.

Thanks for finding this one. I met Chet about this time. I remember that classical and how nice Chet had it set up. He changed my expectation about what a guitar could feel like. I believe Mark Pritcher has that guitar now. I love Chet's sly comment, "I'm going to play a few tunes… mostly country." Then he plays Missionera. And for all of us, there are some great camera shots of both of Chet's hands… a beautiful reminder of how elegantly he moved. John

Is there any way of recording any portion of this video?

I have seen excerpts from that video before, but this is a treasure. I am sharing with my friends over on the Gretsch Pages. Very nice comments, especially from John Knowles above.

Right you are, John. That is Chet's 1972 Jeronimo Pena Fernandez classical guitar- an outstanding instrument, and one he performed and recorded with a lot in the early 70's. I'm guessing this show is from about that time (early 70's), Chet is playing some of the same tunes and is with the same musicians as his August 1972 "Evening At Pops" appearance on PBS (I think he's even wearing the same tuxedo!).
Thanks for posting, Haakon!

If I had read Haakon's title of the post, I would have known it was 1973...!

Isn't that great? One thing that I always admired about Chet was his ability to come out on stage and 'open' with a difficult tune. Most of us will want to warm up a little, playing something fairly easy to start with, but not Chet - -
he comes right out there and nails "Just Another Rag" a'la Jerry Reed! SUPER HARD STUFF. Knocked me out,,,,again.
